2026 Sailing Season!

Come be part of a wonderful sailing program on Crystal Lake! 

Registration for our one-week summer camp, two-week summer camp, and competitive sailing lessons will open for the 2026 summer season on Friday, April 24. 

Crystal Lake Sailing School is a non-for-profit community sailing program that is open to the public. We are proud to offer summer camps, private lessons, and race training for children ages 7 – 16 years of age. We teach sailing on our fleet of Optimist Prams and Butterfly sailboats off the sandy beach of the Crystal Lake Yacht Club at the west end of Crystal Lake. Our talented staff use the US Sailing instructional system providing a welcoming, safe, and fun environment to learn and enjoy a lifelong family sport.  

Children 7-11

Get them to enjoy sailing at an early age.

Children 12+

It doesn't matter if they have previous experience or are just starting.

Private Lessons

Know a child or adult who wants to make some quick progress? Private lessons are for them.
